Student Council

At GHHPS, we believe that every child has the potential to lead. Developing leadership qualities is a continuous journey that we nurture through consistent encouragement, real-life role models, and responsibility-based learning.
Leadership at our school is not just about leading others—it's about self-discipline, accountability, and values-based decision-making. We emphasize self-management by instilling strong traditional values and a deep sense of social responsibility. Through daily practices and structured opportunities, students learn to lead themselves first—and others, next.

The Student Council

To further strengthen leadership among students, GHHPS has a well-structured Student Council system in place. Each year, during the Investiture Ceremony, newly elected Council members are formally inducted. This prestigious event symbolizes the passing of responsibilities and marks the beginning of their leadership journey.

The Student Council includes:
  • Head Boy & Head Girl
  • Sports Head Boy & Sports Head Girl
  • School Prefects
  • House Captains & Vice Captains

Through their roles, students gain hands-on experience in organizing, managing, and leading school activities—helping them become confident and responsible citizens of tomorrow.

The House System

To promote holistic development, our school follows a vibrant House System that forms the foundation of student engagement, competitions, and team-building activities.

  • Charity
  • Courage
  • Peace
  • Wisdom
  • This system encourages healthy competition, teamwork, and a strong sense of identity and belonging. Whether it's academic, cultural, or sports events—students proudly represent their houses, showcasing their talents while learning the value of collective success.

At GHHPS, leadership isn't taught—it's lived every day, through action, values, and vision.
